PRESS RELEASE - No.1 Latin Dancer, Arsen Kishishian now teaching with DANCE101, alongside renowned Latin Dancer, Abbey Ross.
The most effective way to learn
By far, the most effective way to learn to dance is through one-on-one private lessons. Group classes are great for that social aspect, the fun, happy vibe they create and meeting other people, but in a group class, you just don't get that personal attention to helps with your unique issues when learning to dance.
Private lessons are the most expensive way to learn as well, but it's about value for money. There's no use spending hundreds of dollars on group classes if you have difficulties or want that personalised approach. It's all about what your objective is and how much you want to get out of your dance.
Why we are different
We have over 20 years professional teaching experience. We are trained as teachers and we do this full time, this is our career! Not only that, we LOVE to teach! There are loads of people out there teaching to make money or teaching because they don't want a real job. The challenge for you as a student is to decipher the difference so you get the results.
We have a genuine passion for dance and a passion for sharing it with you. We take pleasure in seeing you "get it" and the joy in your eyes when you surpass your own expectations. That's our job, to see you progress and we LOVE it.
At DANCE101 we don't get you sign a contract, no hidden extras just your full hour of tuition, in your own private room, with as much music as you like. No need to battle with ten other instructors on the floor shouting "changing!" to change the music from waltz to salsa then to cha cha then to tango. You get your own room, your own music if you like and your own lesson, tailored to your requirements.
No contracts, no hidden extras
Do you remember that horrible Current Affair article done on the Dance Studio Industry? They showed this poor couple that had spent thousands of dollars at a studio and couldnt dance! It was an outrage for them, for us and for the industry. This couple had been sold contracts they couldnt get out of, they were sold lessons that gave them no value, it was a tragedy.
At DANCE101 we have no contracts and no hidden extras and you WILL get to dance, that's our promise.
You purchase your lessons one by one, if you like the first one, you book the second one. If you don't like it, that's no problems, we can recommend you to another studio that might suit your needs better. As long as you're dancing, we don't mind! We can even give you advice on our favorite places to dance and why we like them.
You get to dance
Some studios are well known for dragging out lessons, giving your a tour that takes 10 minutes, introducing you to everyone on the floor, taking another 10 minutes and then waiting for music to change. Or even worse, the teacher is only two steps in ahead of you, they just look like a dancer!
At DANCE101 you will get all the music you want, no studio tour, no interruptions, just one full hour of dance, quality tuition and over 18 years of knowledge.
How much do they cost?
Private lessons for one or two people are $90 for an hour. This $90 plus a $20 booking fee (or floor fee) for the venue where we teach. Lessons are paid in cash, lesson by lesson. No discounts, no catches, just simple cost structure.
