Paul Zaidman
 Paul Zaidman began his love affair with dancing when he was only five. He started out in ballet, following in the footsteps of his ballerina mother, who took him to classes and taught him at home. As he grew older, his love of dance extended to funk, hip hop, jazz and ballroom. At the age of 17, he started dancing professionally.
Paul admits that one of the things that attracted him to dancing in the early days was the number of girls in dance classes. “I remember walking into this studio and there were all these girls and I was the only boy, I thought, ‘Wow! This is the place for me!” Paul appeared on the ABC TV show Strictly Dancing. His range of dance skills and energetic performances were a big hit with audiences and he ended up finishing in third place with partner Rachel Anderson.
His other achievements include runner up in the 1999 Singapore International Professional Latin, runner up in the 2005 Crown Casino Professional Latin and winner of the 2003 Southern Cross Professional Latin. Paul and his partner Cheryl recently returned from 18 months dancing and teaching on the world’s number one cruise-line where they wowed audiences with their sizzling performances and exciting lessons. Paul sailed to over 40 countries and danced in two hurricanes with over 50 foot seas!
Paul’s dance and teaching expertise is vast, ranging from Latin, Ballroom, New Vogue, Argentine Tango and Street Latin. He has been specialising in Latin American for the past 10 years. Paul recently appeared on the current series of Dancing with the Stars with Kimberley Davies.
