BLOG - Greetings from British Columbia

Ahhh.... the Brits... they sure know how to plan a city... Paul and I have docked in Victoria British Columbia (Canada) today, its a gorgeous sunny day and we've been for a walk along the banks of the water. Its a stunning town, just beautiful in its architecture, town planning, buildings, streets and flowers everywhere!!! We have a few hours off the ship and found a skanky little internet cafe to check in at.

Things are going well for us on Crystal Harmony. As we have already said, the ship is just gorgeous and we are treated so well, its just fabulous. Get this... we have 24 hour room service with no charge!!!! Annnnddd..... our bar fridge is full of yummy bits, of which we dont have to pay for!!!! The bistro on board makes the most fantastic soy hot chocolates... and yes we dont pay for them. And the food is fine dining, first class.... we have our choice of our own private table, or when we are feeling social, we can join the myriad of interesting people on board.

We have alot more time in our schedule, we dont do ANY gangway, or tender tickets or show doors, or library duty and dont get woken up by horrible announcements, smelly, smoking workers next door or tools banging on the bench next to my head in the room next door!! They do everything so tastefully on this ship. The walls are not paper thin and we cant hear any of the guests next to us or in the hallways.

We are using the extra time we have to put into our dance routines. We are putting together some really nice stuff and extending the dances we already do. This is a quality production here, we are on the big show stage with full sound, lighting and even smoke machines!!! We are even putting together our own band charts so the band plays real music to our dance choreography!!

But right now we have a few hours off the ship in sunny Victoria and we found this fab little internet cafe that costs $3 per hour and I'm typing as fast as I can with these long nails of mine (no housework, no gardening... you should see how long they are growing :-)

We're off to Alaska again on this trip and then one more 12 day trip before we head for the warmer waters of Mexico.... yay!!! Cant wait for that... never been there before..
