DANCE101 Changes Lives
DANCE101 is conducting its bi-annual Basic Training Program in Melbourne (just outside CBD) in May 2010. If you would like to learn to teach Salsa and Latin Dancing in group environments, then this course is the best place to start. (Actually, we think its the only, commercially available training program of its kind)
BASIC TRAINING - Dates for Basic Training are Saturdays 1st, 8th, 22nd and 28th May 2010 (10am till 4pm) If you are unable to make these dates, please do not apply for this course!

If you would like to register for this course, please contact us on 0417 700 767 and get ready to overhaul your life! Successfully completed candidates of this Basic Training program may be offered work with DANCE101 (however, it is not guaranteed) in addition to work opportunities, ongoing training is provided along with opportunities for performances, event management and a variety of other skill development areas.
We are very excited to offer this program, it is homegrown in Melbourne and has over 70 years of dance and teaching experience within it!

Work from home - Receptionist / Admin
We're on the lookout for a person who's passionate about dance but is / wants to be at home during the evenings. We need a person to take all our phone calls whilst we are busy teaching the students! That means you get to chat with our people, tell them all about DANCE101 and share how to get started.
This role is critical to our business, you will have our phones diverted to you, you will be on call to answer the phones within 2 rings and you must, must, must dance in the conversation with our enquiries.
DANCE101 has a certain flavour about it, we work a certain way, so its no typical enquiry, "answer the phone, give info, say goodbye" NO! We want you to chat with them, find out what they want from dancing and give them the options we have to get them started.
There's also an administrative section to this role, data entry mainly but other general tasks may be given to you as well.
So we're looking for a person that doesn't dance at night! Someone that won't come to our classes! Someone that can't come to our classes! We need you to STAY HOME and answer our phones! If that person is you, please email us, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements
- Awesome people skills
- Happy, bright, outgoing
- Can handle calls in the evenings, 5pm till 8pm
- Able to handle calls during the day as needed
- Excellent communiation skills and unbridled passion for dance
