Wendell Sailor is out!
DISGRACED rugby star Wendell Sailor was given the punt on last night's edition of Dancing With The Stars, Seven's enduring celebrity talent show.
Despite their tango routine (or perhaps because of it), Sailor and dance partner Linda de Nicola polled the lowest of 10 celebrities in a combined judges and public vote and were eliminated from the competition. 
“It has been an amazing experience but I just wish I could have stayed in longer to do a few more dances," Sailor said after the result. "My wife and kids are huge fans of the show and were really keen for me to do the show so I am wrapped I got the chance to be involved.”
On May 13, last year, Sailor was suspended indefinitely from representing either the NSW Waratahs or the Australian Rugby Team after returning a positive drug test. Sailor's manager confirmed in a statement it was a doping offence.
Singer Kate Ceberano and dance partner John-Paul Collins did the best, receiving 46 points out of a possible 50, and their first perfect 10 by judge Todd McKenney, for their show-stopping jive routine to Joker and the Thief by Wolfmother.
Second place with a score of 43 was actor Tim Campbell and Natalie Lowe for their jive to the Land of 1000 Dances by Wilson Pickett.
Through to the next round were Ceberano, Campbell, TV journalist Naomi Robson, actor Kimberley Davies, radio announcer Fifi Box, Olympic pole vaulter Tatiana Grigorieva, tennis champ Todd Woodbridge, Big Brother star David Graham and Oprah Winfrey adoptee Jamie Durie.
