Salsa Performance Program! Six Week Short Course - November 15 till December 17, 2009 |
Salsa is such a popular dance because of its easy learning ability and of course, its wonderful music. But there are many ways to learn, Group classes is one, Private lessons another (and expensive) but you may not be aware of the profound effect the DANCE101 Short Courses are having on learning this wonderful dance and opening up opportunities to dance with more people.

This five week program is designed to take your dancing to the next level. Catering to all levels of students, this program consists of 90 minute sessions in three separate levels Beginners, Intermediates & Advanced). This course will take you through the DANCE101 Syllabus moves for your level, focusing on the following aspects of dance. |

Outcomes of the course |
- You will get the key distinctions of performing in front of a live audience
- You will successfully perform at your current level
- Photos will be taken of the program and performance and loaded onto the DANCE101 website
- You will get specific feedback on unique characteristics of your dancing (note, all work is done at a group level, no private lessons are included in this program)
- Coaching on presentation, character, finish and styling
- Focus on timing, body positioning, lead & follow

| Rehearsals |
|
There will be one full dress rehearsal and one rehearsal at the venue you will perform at prior to the event. The perforamnce will be at the Annual Salsa Ball on Saturday 19th December 2009. This will be the entire group of participants on the floor at the same time, so dont panic, it wont be just you and your partner!
The full dress rehearsal is your opportunity to perform in front of a limited audience (friends & family welcome) and an opportunity to take photos, video footage and test your dress, pants, jewellery and give you the thrill of dancing in front of people! |

| During the course and on the evening of the performance, you will be photographed and videod. Photos will be available from the DANCE101 website or the photographers website who may be present during the events. | |
Please note, participants do not need to perform on the night, to do this course! |
