Very sad news today
One of our students, friends and ex work colleagues has passed away in a tragic road accident. We have known Naomi Hall for over 7 years and she has followed us from previous corporate jobs into the creation of DANCE101. Naomi danced at several locations, Chelsea, Mordialloc and sometimes Dandenong, her last two events were Friday Salsa Fix and Halloween, you may have danced with her then. The photo to the right is Naomi participating in a competition program (with Nicholas)
Naomi was a beautiful soul, gentle, sweet and very sensitive. Her love of dance started when she was young, in ballet and from what we saw, Naomi was completely free on the dancefloor, she was a delight to dance with, gentle, receptive and always smiling.
If you didnt know her, you missed out, she was lovely. But you had to look for her in a room, she wasnt noisy, outrageous or outgoing, but she loved to dance and she loved dancing with DANCE101 and all the lovely people. We know this because she told us every time she came along.
Naomi's funeral is tomorrow (Wednesday 9th December) in Lilydale
- 10am @ Federation Chapel
- Lilydale Memorial Park
- 126 Victoria Road, Lilydale
We pass on our condolences to Naomi's family, this is the second tragic loss of a second daughter and our hearts grieve for their loss.
Rest in peace Naomi, your sweet smile and beautiful soul will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
Paul Zaidman and Cheryl Smith
