DANCE101 has accreditations from the FATD (Federation Association of Teachers of Dance) and membership with the Australian Dance sport Association. We are the only dance company in Melbourne to have all its teachers accredited as Coaches with the Australian Federal Government! |
DANCE101 has experience in professional dance competition, examination work, not just in Melbourne but national and international. We have many years experience in performances and choreography design and implementation.
For the established dancer who is looking for more out of their teacher, or perhaps a different teacher, you will have access to a teaching style that ranges from exciting choreography to the tiniest subtleties of technique. We can prepare you for competition, performance or medals and exams. We also have access to a range of internationally accredited teachers, dance coaches and choreographers.

Schools
Kids and Teens just love to dance. What they don’t often get is the structure and learning behind the movement or they dont get enough fun! Our Schools program teaches kids the value and respect involved in connecting with another human being. Through structured, well planned classes, students learn up to ten dances within in school term, they learn musicality, working as part of a group and the fun and freedom of physical expression to music.
From Grade three to VCE, kids at school get to experience the joy of learning to dance with partners and in groups. These innovative dance classes build confidence, self esteem and respect for the opposite sex. The value of working with others in these fun, interesting lessons will leave students with a sense of freedom, fun and happiness.

DANCE101 is owned and operated by Paul Zaidman and Cheryl Smith and supported by an army of wonderful teachers and assistants from all over Melbourne.
