WHO (World Health Organisation) - World Health Day 2010!
Celebrate World Health Day 2010 and join 1000 Cities 1000 Lives Melbourne at Albert Park Reserve on Sunday 11 April. Hosted by Biggest Loser's Michelle Bridges and presented by Parks Victoria, come and represent your favourite city and raise awareness of public health in urban environments. Join the DANCE101 teachers and students for a fabulous day at Albert Park Lake. No bookings required but you'd have rocks in your head if you didnt come along!
Latin Accreditation Night scheduled for May 7th at Spencers Live!
Yep, that's right folks, the next DANCE101 Accreditation night is confirmed for the 9th of April, 2010 at Spensers Live.
And here's how its going to work
- Doors open 5pm
- Medals from 5pm till 8.30pm
- Tea / Coffee etc from 5pm
- Dance class for guests & visitors 8.00pm
- Same Friday Salsa Fix as usual
- Family / Friends for medals only must be on VIP guest list
- Payment for medals is required on the night
*Please advise us if you require a late time to complete medal, we will do our best to accomodate your needs (latest is from 7pm till 8pm)
Cost of each medal (per person) includes judges comments on certificate of merit, medal with high quality digital engraving and judges fees
- $65 Bronze
- $70 Silver
- $75 Gold
Family and Friends are welcome to come and watch you complete your medal, in fact, we would love for them to come and celebrate in your dancing achievements, take photos, video and enjoy this rare opportunity.
Entry fee is free from 5pm till 8pm, if they want to stay in the venue after that, the fee is the standard $15 per person. Finger food will be available as will tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits. Please note, Spensers Live is NOT A BYO venue, please ensure you and your guests do not bring your own food / drinks.
Tips on what to wear
- Ladies a nice flowing skirt with blouse or informal dress will look lovely in your photos. Some jewellry is appropriate but please dance in your newest jewells before the night. Dance shoes are not compulsory but they do help you dance better!
- Gentlemen - trousers or slacks and a shirt will be fine, jeans tend to be a bit casual for this event. Dance shoes are not compulsory but will help you stabilise and balance better and they make you look taller :-)

Next Fix is Friday April 9th 2010 at Spensers Live, 419 Spencer Street, Melbourne.
As always we are excited to be running our next event at this venue, its known as one of the best venues for "awsome sound" and the most gorgeous dark timber dance floor with no boundaries!
This is a 100% Ticketed event, if you dont have a ticket prior to the event (or have your name on our ticket list) we cant give you access to the venue! So purchase your tickets now!
Tables will be reserved and allocated on a "first booked" basis, so get your table organised and book in now, there is limited seating and its comfy and gorgeous, you WILL want to book it!
