We should try a blind fold class..!!
Okay guys now just before you all get any funny Idea's and Im sure its already too late..!
If a woman is blind folded and you as "the man" or the Lead wants her to move to your lead then you really have to make your lead positive, confident and clean.
Ive tried this when I was first learning to lead and what I discovered was the woman was moving to what she saw coming rather than what she felt through my leading..
So with a blind fold on we just danced basic steps until I got my leading sorted out...
For a woman with a blindfold on.. Ive been told is they hear the music more clearly as they are not trying to see what is coming next, instead they now feel for the lead..
Who wants to try this out..? |

I think this is a brilliant idea I tried this when I first started dancing, as a girl it really sorts out back leading issues

I've practised that way on numerous occasions. By the third straight dance I've lost which way is up though.

Back in the day when I was doing kung-fu we did this a lot, and it really sharpens your sense of touch/response and helps you develop a mental image of where your partner is (thus even if you aren't looking exactly or look away you aren't likely to accidentally throw an elbow as you know where your partner is - however I suspect this is more of a danger for us gentlemen who won't be blindfolded like the ladies ^_^)
Either way it's a really good training tool in my personal opinion.

Then can we all like stand to one side and take our blind folds off and have a giggle a who is still on the floor blind folded lol
